THE REFUGE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

Prosperity

I am amazed at the attacks on "Word of Faith" ministries. Here is what Word of Faith means: Word of Faith emphasizes speaking, stating, or confessing verses found in the Bible, which is the Word of God. If one believes the Word of God and confesses it then the believer shall receive what they confess. This act of believing and speaking is described by Jesus in Mark 11:22. The term word of faith itself is derived from the biblical passage Romans 10:8 which speaks of "the word of faith that we preach."
"Let him that stole steal no more, but rather let him labor working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that is in need." Ephesians 4:28

It's amazing how many people will hear a teaching about prosperity and will say "I don't need much prosperity. I'm a simple person with a simple life. So I just ask God for enough to meet my needs." Or they will say "God did not intend for us to have prosperity" Or "It is more holy to be poor." Or "Jesus was poor so we have to be poor"

Your Inheritance of Salvation Health & Wealth

Poverty is not the will of God for any Believer. However, there are Christians who have taken a "vow of poverty" because they believe that poverty is a part of being holy and righteous. This is far from the truth. Poverty has nothing to do with godliness, or God—likeness. To be poor, or impoverished, means, "to be without; in lack; deprived." You and I don't serve a God of lack and insufficiency. He is the God of the exceeding and the abundant. In fact, He wants to lavish you with His goodness (Ephesians 3:20).
I have always seen poverty as lack and it can be spiritual or material. Under the Old Covenant the curse for disobedience to the law was poverty and the blessing for obedience was prosperity.

Through faith in Jesus we now are a part of the blessings and promises of Abraham and his descendants. Prosperity is having your needs met and having a surplus (having an abundance), so that you can give to every good work. God gives seed to the sower. We sow seed and reap a harvest. A harvest is always larger than the seed planted. God's grace abounds to us so that we have all sufficiency to give to every good work. Now I don't believe that means necessarily that God is going to make everyone millionaires....

    Power to Prosper

Psalm 34. The power to obtain genuine prosperity resides only in the gospel of Christ. Power from any other source is a counterfeit. It leads backwards and results in a bleak eternity.

3 John 2: Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers.

God desires all round prosperity for his children. We are to prosper spiritually, physically and materially. Our material and physical blessings are proportional to our spiritual blessings. The more we increase spiritually the more we will increase physically and materially. The more of God we have in our lives the more we will prosper and be in health. That is why we are told, “seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33. It is God that gives us the power to get wealth. Deut. 8:18 and teaches us to profit. Isaiah 48:17. According to Psalm 1:3, when we trust in the Lord and put all our hope in Him, we will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. This means we will not lack anything. All our needs will be met. The Lord, our Shepherd, will supply all our needs. Psalm 23:1.

    Victory Over Financial Handicap

    Malachi 3:11-12

    • When you desire dumbfounding financial breakthroughs
    • When you are tired of financial embarrassments
    • To break financial bondage
    • Destroying satanic embargo on finances
    • Arresting the spirit of leaking pockets

One of the strategies of the enemy is to plague us with financial handicaps in order to paralyze our potential. You have to resist it by taking on the armour of warfare against it.

Mal. 3:10 – Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse that there my abe meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open to you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

    God's Word Concerning Prosperity

The Word of God is powerful ... sharper than any double edged sword ... Jesus is the Word become flesh ... he sent his Word and healed them ... the Word of God is spirit and life, it does not return void, but accomplishes and prospers in the things for which it was sent to do.
