This land of Israel is the Promised Land that the Hebrews entered after Moses led them out of Egyptian captivity. Abraham lived in this land even before that time. In fact, the only reason they ended up in Egypt was because of the famine, during which time Pharaoh allowed Joseph to bring his family to Egypt to live. The Hebrew people have been reestablished in this land since the days of Joshua, Moses' successor. The Twelve Tribes of Israel formed a constitutional monarchy in this land around 1000 BC, and it was King David who made Jerusalem the nation's capital. Eventually the nation was split into two kingdoms—Samaria in the north and Judea in the south. (This is the land that is today referred to as the West Bank.)

John Paul Jackson (Streams Ministries International http://www.streamsministries.com) released a prophetic word recently about a “perfect storm” of crises coming against our nation. I have always had respect for Jackson’s prophetic ministry and wanted to pass along some excerpts in which explains what he believes God has shown him is about to happen in America and the world over the next 10 years. PROPHETIC WORDS FROM THE LORD TO AMERICA THROUGH THE WOMEN INTERCESSORS OF THE CHURCH AND NATION THE WAILING WOMEN INTERNATIONAL

America, America I have cuddled you like a mother would cuddle a child, I have fed you with the precious milk of My breast and I have given you everything a father should give to a child that He loves. I gave you security, I gave you riches, I gave you wealth, I gave you influence, I gave you power, but you have played the harlot. You have looked in different directions; you have sought help where there was no help. You have forgotten the very hand that established you; you have opened your doors to wild beasts, you have let them in, into your bank, and they have destroyed that which is precious to you and are still destroying. You have opened your windows to strange and wicked spirits. They have come in and polluted your spirit. They have introduced philosophies of devils to you, so that today your souls are no longer right before Me. America, tell Me what wrong I have done to you? Ask your fathers what wrong I did to them, that you have gone to seek help from Lucifer? Tell Me what good He has done to you that you would go to him? Oh, America! You have taught your children to stray; your men have gone away from the source of the spring that gives them life. Your women have taken to fantasies that have no meaning and content. That is why today there is no good content in the lives of people and there is no meaning in the lives they live.

 

To recognize false prophets we must heed the above verse and "prove all things." One does not arrive at being an overcomer until he first learns the all important lesson of testing or "proving" the issues of this life. In the hour that we live there are so many things that are false and evil. We must be constantly on guard and "prove" or test things, lest we become ensnared by something that is wicked. Cults are spreading. Eastern idolatrous religions are creeping into our country in very subtle forms, and many Christians are being deceived and have accepted their practices without even being aware of their evil. Some religious groups have existed for years under the guise of Christianity, and yet are far from the teachings of Jesus Christ. The Lord warns us of these false teachers and tells us to beware of them.
