The Race of Faith
1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1-2)"... looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith."
Our lives are not defined by our emotions. If you are emotionally driven, you will miss God 99% of the time.
There is a higher order than this natural realm we live in. If you get in the word, you will rise above the feelings and the natural order of things. If you keep confessing the word of God, the truth of the Word will change the facts (sickness, poverty, etc.) Talking about the problem only digs the hole deeper.
There is more to you than the way you feel. Everything is tied to obedience to God's commands. If you are emotionally distraught, get with God because He is joy unspeakable and full of glory.
We disconnect from the plan of God through disobedience.
When we obey God, we walk in victory. Whatever God's plan is, he expects to finance and back it fully. The blessing for your life is on the path that God has for you.
God prepares a path ahead of time. How do I get back on God's path? Spend time in the word and spend time with God.
Walk by faith - not by sight - one step at a time.
The blessing is obeying the wisdom and plan of God.
