God has warned us about Satan in the Bible. One probably most threatening and graphic passage is 1 Peter 5:8 where God tells us that the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (Seldom do we look at the verse directly before where it says Casting all your care upon [The Lord]; for he cares for you. Or the commandment to be sober, and to be vigilant, earlier in the chapter.) So many people give the devil access to their lives and when this don't have to be. Our Father cares too much for us to be destroyed by the enemy. The people of God must bind the enemy on every hand and claim victory over the spirit of darkness. The word of God says that we are to worship Him spirit and in truth. Also we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. We must take God at his word and tell the devil to loose his hold and stop giving him access over our lives.
