Apostle Anthony Berry
I have been saved for 27 years, and have experienced a number of situations where the only way I was able to be delivered is through God's merciful graces. It is my obligation to share the agape of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to a loveless civilization.

This is the continuation of the article discussing the correlations between bodybuilding and faithbuilding.

Bodybuilder/Faithbuilders... Faithercise
As was stated before tribulation is the method of resistance used to strengthen faith.  How many times have we asked God for more strength and more faith and without notice all h--l seems to break loose? We don't realize that when we ask the Lord for these things that he starts the spirtitual exercise circuits.  This is very much the same as the body sculpting routines done by bodybuilders.  Being a former amature bodybuilder I have been blessed to be able to make this comparison. When we go through the "no pain, no gain" that we find in any sport; we have to realize that the same is true for the spirit.

In bodybuilding or martial arts for example; we are taught to work on the areas that we hate to work first.  After this we can do what we enjoy.  This is done because it takes more energy to do the exercises that we don't like.  Let's look at the comparison in faithercise (remember you saw this word here first lol).  Some have more faith in areas than others; this is evident in the fact that some saints can fast unwaveringly and with masterful intent.  Others can fast only with a great struggle, and they start a fast and break it over and over again.  This is not bad in and of itself, start over as much as you need until you succeed.  Some can just go on with what we call the made up mind.

Faithercise is much the same as exercise, All of you body builders out there may be familiar with working a split routine where you concentrate on certain body parts on certain days.  For everyone that have limited knowledge on the sport of bodybuilding; Monday, Wednesdday and Friday, the bodybuilder might work chest, triceps and thighs; the other days they work the reamining body parts.  We we do faithercise it is very much the same.  The Lord outlines our routine and makes changes as necessary.
